Event opportunities can be found on our website and in our newsletter, out on the first day of each month and accessible through the newsletter page of our website. They can be applied to using the forms in our events page of the website.

You can find all of the details in our article submission form, we look for articles on law, politics, current events and international relations/diplomacy. They are read and picked by our president and the director of our newsletter.

Yes, everything we do at the YBA is completely remote. We do not host events in person.

Members are allowed to take part in our events and write articles for our newsletter. Please refer to our privacy policy if you have any queries about how we store your data, and what will happen if you do not want to be a member any longer.

Yes, we are a non-profit organisation, and everything is free.

No, members do not attend meetings, they aren’t assigned tasks. Only volunteers or people partaking in events are assigned tasks. You do not have a schedule as a member, and can partake in whatever you choose to.

All events can be applied to from our website. For debates, mock trials and some simulations, we do not accept all applicants. If you do not hear a response back, you will not partaking in an event. To take part in events, you must prepare everything beforehand, ie. you will need to have prepared all of your arguments for a debate, or all of your questions for a trial. With MUNs, we accept more participant, and it is highly likely that you will get a spot if you apply. Please email any questions in about events.

No, the YBA is a youth led organisation, not run by legal professionals or experts. Please refer to our privacy policy for further details.

We try to get back to you ASAP, but we will get back to you within 2 weeks. It is not competitive, as soon as you send your application in, you are considered a member.
